The Vice President of the University for Academic Affairs chaired the meeting of the Standing Committee of College Vice-Deans for Academic Affairs.
As part of Northern Border University’s commitment to enhancing the quality of academic performance and ensuring college readiness, the Standing Committee of College Vice-Deans for Academic Affairs convened under the chairmanship of His Excellency the Vice President of the University for Academic Affairs, Prof. Saud bin Abdulmohsen Al-Muqhim, and in the presence of His Excellency the Dean of Admission and Registration.
The meeting discussed the follow-up on the completion of first-semester activities, the finalization and approval of grades, and ensuring the timely announcement of results. Emphasis was also placed on completing the monitoring and evaluation forms related to examination quality at both department and college levels, and submitting them to the Vice Presidency for Academic Affairs – Quality Unit in accordance with the approved procedures.
In addition, the meeting addressed colleges’ preparations for the second semester following the mid-year break, including readiness for orientation week and the reception of newly admitted students. The committee also reviewed student registration status and course section reports to ensure the stability of academic schedules at the beginning of the semester.
This meeting forms part of the University’s ongoing efforts to strengthen integration between academic and administrative units and to achieve organizational and academic readiness, thereby supporting the continuity of the educational process and enhancing the overall student experience.
