General objective:
Building and developing study plans to improve educational outcomes, achieve their compatibility with academic accreditation standards, and prepare highly qualified graduates competing for labor market jobs.
Mission:
• Preparing plans for the unit's activities and following up on their implementation after approval.
• Determining the necessary specifications and standards in preparing study plans and programs per the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation standards.
• Studying and evaluating college study plans according to standards, arranged rules, and recommended approval.
• Develop study plans and programs and support academic departments to improve study plan quality.
• Academic cooperation with various corresponding departments in universities locally, regionally, and globally within approved and official regulations to create highly qualified academic plans and programs.
• Increasing the efficiency of workers in the field of study plans and programs.
• Developing study plans in cooperation with the heads and supervisors of departments in the college and coordination with the University Vice Presidency for Academic Affairs (the Standing Committee for Study Plans).
• Follow up on the developments in study plans and programs in local and foreign universities.
• Coordinating with the relevant authorities to organize workshops and training programs in the field of study plans and programs.
• Evaluating study plans of various majors by providing feedback from faculty members and graduates in the labor market.
• Preparing for the Study Plans and Systems Committee sessions and their minutes.
• Designing forms and applications for study and systems plans.
• Engage expert editors to revise the linguistic and technical plans and unify their general appearance.
• Define the performance indicators for all activities related to the unit; review and develop them consistently.
• Determine the unit's human resource needs and follow up on providing them.
• Determine the training needs of the unit's employees to nominate them for the appropriate training programs.
• Preparing periodic reports on the unit's activities and achievements and suggestions for developing its performance.
• Any other responsibilities assigned to the unit.
