His Excellency the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Saud bin Abdulmohsen Al-Muqham, accompanied by a number of Vice Deanship employees, visited the university's branch in Rafha Governorate, as part of follow up field visits aimed at supporting the quality of the educational process, reviewing development initiatives, and enhancing integration between academic and administrative bodies.
His Excellency began the visit by meeting with the academic and administrative leaders at the branch, conveying the greetings and appreciation of His Excellency the President of the University to his employees, and praising their efforts in serving students and developing the academic environment.
The visit included meetings with the Council of the College of Computers and Information Technology, the Council of the College of Pharmacy, and the employees of the Applied College in the Rafha Branch, during which they discussed the development of study plans, benefiting from the results of the "Readiness" test, programs to prepare pharmacy students for the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties exams, and efforts to raise the readiness of programs for future program accreditation.
His Excellency was also briefed on a number of projects of the students of the Applied College, and the project of the electronic training platform, stressing the importance of integration with the Standing Committee for Excellence and Cooperative Training at the University, and honored a number of students of the College of Computers who won the Hackathon of Programmatic Artificial Intelligence and distinguished in cybersecurity.
The visit included discussing a number of common topics related to admission, allocation and rates, and emphasizing the promotion of community service initiatives in Rafha Governorate, in order to enhance the university's presence and its developmental and community role.
